Support Worker

Job Description

You will support a group of maximum 11 people with mental health disorders and/or substance abuse. It is in a residential treatment centre where you will support them with their personal recovery journey. This requires an empathetic and non-judgemental attitude. As a support worker, you are part of a team, good team-working skills and communication, written, verbal and non-verbal skills are important.
We will give you supervision. The successful candidate will be reporting to and responsible for the clinical director.

Tasks as a Peer Support Worker:
– Handover with medical and/or clinical staff, written and verbally
– Report in client files
– Taking clients out on an excursion
– Support clients with their assignments
– Sit in on group therapy and/or workshops
– Facilitate short check-in groups

Drivers licence: B
Availability: Days, evenings and weekends
NIE and Social Security number required
