Alex Newman

Alex Newman is a highly experienced substance use therapist, trainer, and treatment manager with over 25 years of expertise in the field. She specialises in Motivational Interviewing and harm reduction techniques, bringing extensive knowledge and skill to her practice.

Throughout her career, Alex has worked across health and criminal justice sectors in both the UK and New Zealand. She has played a pivotal role in managing and developing services to support clients effectively, leaving a lasting impact on the communities she serves.

Now based in Mallorca, Alex has recently expanded her expertise by training in hormonal health, offering specialised support to women navigating menopause.

In her role as Ibiza Calm’s Clinical Outreach representative for the Balearic Islands, Alex connects with doctors, medical professionals and clients across the region. She raises awareness about the clinic’s services and provides insights into how Ibiza Calm can assist individuals facing challenges with addiction and mental health.
