Ilse Holwarda

Ilse Holwarda graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work from the Windesheim University in Zwolle, The Netherlands to allow her to work as a social worker, according to the national professional profile of the Association of Professionals in Social Work (BPSW). Due to her interest in addiction, she chose to specify and completed the minor Addiction Science.

Ilse has experience in working as a family coach (case manager) with “multi-problem” families in their homes, as a personal mentor (counsellor) at a crisis centre for homeless people, and in different departments of housing for people with mental health problems.

Ilse has worked at Ibiza Calm since February 2016, in a variety of roles that have included Senior Peer Support and Office Manager. She loves being creative, often co-facilitating the art class, she is a lover of music and is known to pick up her guitar and expresses her talent.
